Japan-set historical drama Shogun leads the contenders for this year Emmy Awards with 25 nominations in the drama category.
Restaurant series The Bear set a new record for nominations in a single year in the comedy category with 23.
Close behind is Only Murders in the Building with 21 nominations, True Detective: Night Country (19) and The Crown (18).
Netflix’s Baby Reindeer was nominated for best limited series, one of 11 nominations. Its creator and star Richard Gadd has three nominations - for acting, writing and producing.
Jessica Gunning, who plays stalker Martha, is also nominated for an acting award, as are co-stars Nava Mau and Tom Goodman-Hill.
Netflix led the networks with 107 nominations in total, including 18 for The Crown. FX, which is behind Shogun and The Bear, followed with 93 nods, just ahead of the 91 for Warner Bros Discovery’s HBO and streaming service Max.

The 36 first-time performer nominees across all performer categories include Liza Colón-Zayas (The Bear), Dakota Fanning (Ripley), Lily Gladstone (Under the Bridge), Ryan Gosling (Saturday Night Live), Tom Hollander (Feud: Capote vs. The Swans), Jack Lowden (Slow Horses), Lesley Manville (The Crown), Da’Vine Joy Randolph (Only Murders in the Building) and Dominic West (The Crown).
Performers with multiple nominations this year include Quinta Brunson (performance and writing for Abbott Elementary), Jodie Foster (performance and producer for True Detective: Night Country), Donald Glover (performance and writing for Mr. & Mrs. Smith), Jon Hamm (performance for Fargo and The Morning Show), Brie Larson (performance and producer for Lessons in Chemistry), Jonathan Pryce (performance for The Crown and Slow Horses), Maya Rudolph (performance for Loot, performance and music & lyrics for Saturday Night Live, character voice-over for Big Mouth), Andrew Scott (performance and producer for Ripley) and Kristen Wiig (performance for Palm Royale and Saturday Night Live).
