Adrian Twyning has joined communications infrastructure and media services company Arqiva as chief of operations. He is also appointed to Arqiva’s Executive Committee, reporting to CEO Paul Donovan.
According to the company, the chief of operations is a key role for the business and Twyning joins at a pivotal moment. Arqiva has recently undertaken a significant period of system transformation and platform consolidation and Twyning will be accountable for building an integrated function that enables the company to provide ever increasing levels of customer service delivery to its TV, radio, utilities and data network customers, optimising sites, structures and networks.
Twyning comes with significant experience of leading large-scale operations, designing systems and delivering complex business change. Before joining Arqiva, he held senior positions at DixonsCarphone and British Gas. He is a lawyer by background and his earlier career included roles in the NHS and British Army, where he served overseas.
