Skyline Communications has announced that MEASAT Satellite Systems, a Malaysian-based satellite operator, has deployed the DataMiner system.
MEASAT is said to pride itself on providing its customer base with high quality services and highly customised VSAT satellite solutions. In delivering these services, notes Skyline, MEASAT looks to continuously improve and further optimise its operational processes.
Naveendran Murthy, sales manager for the APAC region at Skyline Communications, said: “That’s exactly why MEASAT turned to DataMiner. Having a unified network that can be managed and controlled from a single pane of glass, no matter how complex and heterogeneous the underlying infrastructure, is essential in the satellite industry. With our DataMiner system in place, MEASAT can now count on a reliable solution that enables it to deliver the highest quality of real-time data sharing to support its regional customers, and in the most efficient way possible too.”
Jonathan Triboulet, director of APAC operations at Skyline Communications, added: “It’s always nice to have the confidence of a customer, especially of such a reputable satellite operator like MEASAT.
“MEASAT has high standards, but that wasn’t really a problem, because we knew that DataMiner would be up for the task,” he continued. “We’ve got a proven track record when it comes to managing VSAT networks, no matter how complex they are. A professional end-to-end platform such as DataMiner is key to staying on top of the challenges in the industry, and MEASAT very much realises that. It’s not only about what happens in its operation today: what happens next is equally important if you want to run a reliable and successful business. And with DataMiner in place, MEASAT is sure to be prepared for change, whichever direction the company will be taking its business in the future and no matter with which technology vendors it will be working.”
