Radio Broadcasters Convention of Southern Africa is the first of two radio events taking place across the globe this week, running from 23-25 in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event will showcase ideas and industry information from broadcasters and regulators across Africa.

Radio Show, an event showcasing the latest innovations in radio, streaming and podcasting holds in Dallas, TX, USA from 24-27 September.

American Horror Story is back on Netflix with Season 8  American Horror Story: Apocolypse on Tuesday.

Pupeteering comedian Jeff Dunham’s new stand-up special Jeff Dunham: Beside Himself releases on Netflix on Tuesday.

The Goldfinch starring Nicole Kidman is a drama about a boy in New York taken in by a wealthy Upper East Side family after his mother is killed in a bombing. It releases in the UK on Friday.

David Oyelowo stars in horror drama Don’t Let Go, which releases in UK cinemas on Friday.

25 September 1957 18th Venice Film Festival: Influential Indian film Aparajito directed by Satyajit Ray is first film to win the Golden Lion and the Critics Award.
