The Beach goes plastic free
It is estimated that by 2050 there could be more plastic in our oceans than fish according to a report by the Ellen MacAuthur Foundation and World Economic Forum
This year in a bid to reduce the amount of single-use plastic used by attendees, IBC is supporting Sundog Media Toolkit who are sponsoring reusable cups for all drinks at the Beach Bar during IBC2019. Please support this initiative by coming down to the beach, enjoying a drink and either taking your cup home with you to reuse again or give it back to the bar who will wash it and reuse it.

The IBC esports showcase
Auditorium 14:00 – 17:00
Head over to the Auditorium for the the IBC esports showcase, powered by ESL, EVS and Lagardère. It will feature a live esports tournament in the RAI Auditorium taking advantage of a unique combination of world-class technology placing spectators at the heart of the action.
ESL’s National Championship teams from Germany and Spain will go head-to-head in a live Counter-Strike tournament on the big cinema screen with the Dolby stereo.
IBC will bring together some of the most influential people in the world of esports, to explore the latest trends and development, considering the business case for esports from stretch targets, challenges and opportunities for esports players and the technical delivery of esports programs.
