SDMC, a professional Google-licenced company for set-top boxes based on Android TV, and fabless semiconductor company Amlogic have completed the integration of Google Common Broadcast Stack (CBS) on Android TV STBs for cable operators, telcos and satellite TV service providers.
The joint SDMC and Amlogic solution is based on a new 4K hybrid set-top box including the Amlogic S905X4 SoC and Android TV.
