The London-based international media facilities house Celebro Media has joined the Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) global service.
“Celebro Media is an innovative company and we have been impressed by the innovative solutions it offers to broadcasters. We are looking forward to helping Celebro Media as it develops its services in the UK and around the world,” said Simon Spanswick, AIB Chief Executive. Celebro’s collaborative approach to content creation allows their partners to reach a wider audience. Recent projects include an IPTV service for a Russian broadcaster, a major launch project for Reuters TV and several TV news shows for the BBC World Service.
The facility makes hundreds of hours of content every week for broadcasters in the UK and Russia across a variety of genres including news, history, music and live events. Wesley Dodd, CEO of Celebro Media, said, “we are extremely pleased to be part of the AIB community. We are dedicated to supporting the international broadcasting industry and being involved in the AIB’s global networks will be a real benefit to my colleagues and me.”
“Celebro Media is looking forward to sharing its expertise and its innovations with other AIB Members in the Association’s working groups. And of course, we’re happy to explore how Celebro Media can help and assist other AIB members” - Wesley Dodd
The AIB is a not-for-profit organisation working independently for the media broadcasting industry; renowned as an impartial, accurate provider of news and information to the world’s media companies. Celebro’s membership will enable complete access to the archives of AIB’s work, including market intelligence briefings to participating in working groups that focus on key areas of activity in the industry that include: emerging technology, cyber security, sustainability and audience measurement.
Partnering with the AIB allows organisations:
- To promote their services to over 26,000 people in the global media industry in over 160 countries
- To be associated with the best of international factual broadcasting at our annual awards
- To support events discussing major issues and opportunities in TV, radio and online broadcasting such as digital migration and C-Band availability
Celebro Media have joined AIB at an exciting time; in 2017 they will be launching a fleet of Outside Broadcasting vehicles, enabling their technology and services to cover events across the world.
