Senior executives from Facebook, Liberty Global, MTG, Fox Networks and HTC will deliver keynote addresses at the IBC2017 Conference.
Under this year’s theme of ’Truth, Trust and Transformation’, the keynote sessions will spark debate and seek clarity on the many challenges and opportunities facing content creators and aggregators from the traditional media industry and in adjacent markets.
Facebook Product Director Dan Danker will discuss how the rise of fan and friend power in the media ecosystem are driving new approaches to broadcasting, as well as paving the way for new partnerships and funding models.
“As the media, entertainment and technology sector continues to meld with markets such as cloud, AR/VR, mobile, IoT, social networks, artificial intelligence and telecoms, there is much we can all learn about different ways in which to produce, manage, monetise and aggregate content,” said IBC Chief Executive Mike Crimp.
“We are pleased to welcome a number of high profile keynote speakers from the worlds of social media, VR, and cable and broadband, as well as from broadcast networks, to discuss the changing media landscape and how organisations can embrace this change to evolve, focus and succeed.”
