Welcome to IBC365, a new online editorial platform and weekly e-bulletin from IBC that will provide insight and opinion into hot topics and key trends.
Hopefully the name is self-explanatory: IBC365 will be a year-round editorial voice from IBC, engaging the media, entertainment and technology industry around the world with thought leadership, trends and executive interviews every day on the website and weekly via a new e-bulletin.
As you know, IBC takes place every September in Amsterdam. However, the broadcasting and professional media communities we serve are active all year-round. After consulting with the industry IBC has decided to provide it with analysis and insight via this new editorial platform.
Nothing surprising about that: thanks to digital engagement, devices and social media we all expect to be linked to our chosen editorial voices all the time these days. That’s a given.
For many thousands of industry professionals, IBC is a leading industry voice in the build-up to and during the show in summer and early autumn every year. IBC365 is a major step forward by the IBC team in providing that information to its international community all the time.
What is that voice? As you can see from our new-look website, we are very pleased to bring you Industry Trends, Thought Leadership and Executive Interviews from our leading team of writers, consultants and analysts.
IBC365 will provide insight and opinion into hot topics and key markets through our original content, partner content and strategic collaborations.
In addition to serving our community throughout the year, we are also looking to attract technology providers and audience groups from new markets identified by IBC’s independent research, including Cloud, Virtual Reality, Mobile, Artificial Intelligence, Telco, the Internet of Things, Cybersecurity and Social Networks.
These topics will be covered via commissioned content that will both inform the media industry and encourage adjacent markets to engage more fully with IBC.
We’ve made a great start: take a look at the hundreds of IBC videos, Tech Papers, Thought Leadership, Executive Interview and Industry Trends pieces that span the touchstones of IBC’s reach across the media and entertainment landscape: Production, Content Management, Delivery, Consumption and Tech Advances.
