The Luci Studio software codec has been transformed by Technica Del Arte, with Luci Studio 6 set to make its global debut at IBC.

Designed to turn a Windows, Mac or Linux device into a professional receiver or source for live internet broadcasting, the Luci platform can receive and send single or multiple live streams to and from any type of Luci app.

Able to handle up to 64 streams simultaneously on one device, Luci Studio can be used as either standalone software or combined with more remote Luci Studio applications, other network devices or third-party professional hardware codecs.

Networking features which are now standard in Luci Studio 6 include Stream Cloning for SIP, which uses multiple internet connections to build a more reliable audio stream over the internet. By also adding RTP over SRT to the Luci software protocols, it expands the range of available tools within Luci to improve connection quality in difficult network conditions.

The platform also includes an updated GUI, better graphics, and detailed logging.
