The Multicamera Awards are designed to recognise those who work in studio or OB multicamera programming, across all genres. Whilst whole sound teams and both recording supervisor and mixing supervisor will be recognised in the Sound category.
Meanwhile, the Picture Enhancement category is aimed at colourists/graders, matte work/glass shots, and blue screen/chromakey, covering electronic or film images, from any genre of programme making.
Ade Rawcliffe, Chair, Craft & Design Awards, said: “This year we are set to celebrate another exceptional year in television, having seen brilliant content, amazing storytelling and outstanding performances that have gripped and entertained audiences. The Craft & Design Awards provide a moment to recognise the extraordinary work throughout our industry from the widest range of backgrounds and experiences and we are very much looking forward to receiving submissions for 2023 that reflect the talented and inclusive industry we are a part of.”
The juries consider various productions, budget and time scale involved and advocate the need to recognise diversity in the industry and the wider community.
