Farmerswife: Now benefits from improved integration with sister product Cirkus

With clients in production, post-production, broadcasting, equipment rental and other areas, farmerswife helps users to schedule project resources, plan and control the project lifecycle, manage day-to-day tasks, and keep a close eye on financial records. Meanwhile, Cirkus is geared towards teams and groups that rely on communication, task management and project organisation to get their work done. As well as providing a host of basic and advanced project and task management features, Cirkus can adapt to users’ workflows and help them check off tasks while always keeping their priorities within view.

Both tools can be used independently, but using them together makes it possible to create complementary workflows and obtain a full overview of the users’ projects in the integrated tools.

With version 6.6 of farmerswife, it is now possible to: sync projects and their custom fields from farmerswife to Cirkus; have the projects in Cirkus created with a default or specified template; achieve bidirectional sync of project custom fields – for instance changes can be made in both farmerswife and Cirkus and be in sync; have all new projects created in farmerswife also be created in Cirkus; and have all projects in Cirkus be sent to farmerswife.
