A full schedule of technology and business presentations have been added to the agenda following IABM’s industry trends themed Show Opener at IBC2022.
Key trends and expert analysis on how media technology models are changing will be the theme kicking off IABM’s 2022 agenda, presented by their Business Intelligence Unit on the BaM Live™ Stage. The Show Opener will be a springboard for continuous, daily presentations covering all the major industry themes with case studies jointly delivered by IABM members and their customers.
IABM, the international trade association for suppliers of broadcast and media technology, has devised the programme with the aim of bringing all sides of the industry closer together. The schedule encourages sharing knowledge, promoting positive conversations and the alignment of technology with business objectives.

Themes explored through the presentations include Transformation, Convergence and Monetisation, Resilience and future trends.
Peter White, CEO said: “Our Show Opener event and the BaM Live™ Stage also reflect our current focus on the creation of a collaborative environment where media companies can be helped to resolve issues and problems that face them in a way that is constructive and supportive. In other words, bringing media companies and tech suppliers closer together to accelerate change and the implementation of solutions.”
IABM members and paid conference delegates are also invited to the Forum, where Peter White will present key industry metrics of the evolving media technology landscape, based on extensive research carried out by IABM’s Business Intelligence Unit.
In addition, there will be a BaM members lounge, with pre-bookable meeting rooms; IABM TV Studio, which will be running interviews and round tables throughout the show; and a drinks reception on Saturday 10 September.
